Hey boyfriend might have joked it was a 'Karen' cut, but we think Ellie Warner looks amazing with her new bob
Ellie Warner is definitely no stranger to a dramatic hair transformation. The star of Channel 4’s Gogglebox has debuted plenty of different looks over the years, from a platinum blonde bob to long lime green curls.
Before the transformation, Ellie’s hair had been down to her chest, which she’d been dying a gorgeous pastel pink colour since early last year, and had stuck with the colour ever since. However, her new dramatic chop is a chin grazing bob, with Ellie styling it in loose waves as she took her usual spot on the sofa alongside Izzi.
Although her chic new bob is currently one of the trending hairstyles of the season, Ellie joked that it hadn’t been as well received by her boyfriend, Nat, who she’s expecting her first child with. The 31 year old told her sister that he hadn’t even noticed the change at first, but once he’d spotted the dramatic transformation, he referred to it as a ‘mum cut’ and called it a ‘Karen’ style.
Despite the less than warm reception she got from her family, Ellie’s look is definitely one of the must-have styles of the year, with plenty of celebs also opting for a dramatic chop. With everyone from Ferne McCann and Olivia Bowen to Rochelle Humes chopping off their long lengths in favour of an ultra short bob.
