The behind-the-scenes partners are rarely seen on TV
As Gogglebox returns to our screens with a brand new series, once again viewers will be treated to a mischievous cast of avid telly critics as they share their views about the week's best shows and movies.
But away from his friendship with Jenny, Lee is also happily dating his long-term partner of 28 years. Steve Mail has made a guest appearance on the show but is usually out of the spotlight. In one brief but extremely rare exchange, Jenny and Ray's relationship was caught on camera during one episode, when Jenny asked her husband: "Ray, can you do me a favour and pick up my prescription tomorrow?" She then swiftly followed up with: "Hold on a minute!"
He captioned the photo: "My Mrs and best mate what more could I ask for, don't worry @sophiesandiford1 you are a close second best friend."A year later in December 2022, during an episode of Gogglebox Pete revealed in a sweet announcement that they were expecting their second child together, who was born in June 2023.
Celebrating their tenth anniversary at the time Baasit wrote on the post: "Happy ten year anniversary to the most amazing wife, mummy, friend and soul mate. The last ten years have been full of laughter, love and adventure. Thank you so much @melissasiddiqui for everything that you do." Fans were delighted when one photo included Nasreen sat on the sofa next to her husband Sid and their sons.Leeds based sister's Izzi and Ellie Warner regularly appear on the show together and frequently delight their fans with their cheeky anecdotes and bubbly personalities.
