Nottingham Forest transfer news from NottinghamshireLive as Gonzalo Montiel joins the Reds on loan from Sevilla
Gonzalo Montiel says he has come to Nottingham Forest "full of expectations" and is hungry to win more trophies.
Montiel was part of Argentina's World Cup-winning squad in Qatar last winter. Now he has joined Forest from Spanish side Sevilla, on an initial loan deal until the end of the season, which could become permanent next summer. The 26-year-old defender becomes the Reds' fourth signing of the summer transfer window so far. He will wear the number 29 shirt during his time at the City Ground.
"We are pleased to welcome Gonzalo and his family to Nottingham," said Forest's chief football officer Ross Wilson. "He has already experienced some major achievements in his career and he is looking forward with anticipation to the next chapter with Nottingham Forest."
