The annual Nottingham Goose Fair kicks off on September 27th with over 70 rides, including 13 new attractions promising adrenaline-pumping thrills. The fairgrounds will be dominated by the towering Henry Danter's Aerospace ride, relocated from Barry Island Amusement Park in Wales.
Goose Fair attendees will be able to enjoy more than 70 rides at the popular annual event, with 13 new attractions that are sure to get adrenaline pumping. The city's 700-year-old fair returns to the Forest Recreation Ground for 10 days from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, October 6, bringing its usual mix of adrenaline-producing rides and traditional fairground treats like mushy peas and Cocks-on-Sticks.
Henry Danter's Aerospace, which stands at an incredible 213 feet high, will dominate the skyline at Forest Recreation Ground for the next 10 days, but there are a dozen more new rides for regular visitors to try for the first time. The ride has been based at Barry Island Amusement Park in Wales for the past couple of years.
The organisers of the annual fair, which has been held since around 1284, have now outlined all the rides the 500,000 expected fair goers can expect.
