Locals in Govan have been left 'disheartened' after the portico of the Linthouse Mansion at Elder Park was left covered in graffiti just months after it was cleared up.

Locals in Govan have been left "disheartened" after a landmark at a local park was vandalised with graffiti.

He said: "The graffiti is disheartening. You feel very angry knowing that essential people in Govan are trying to improve the local park and it's kids or young adults who think it's funny to go in there and graffiti it. "I've been in touch with the council to see if they could be of help, and they said they will get a contractor to clear it.
