The Grand National Festival has begun in style
Racegoers arrive on day one of the 2024 Randox Grand National Festival at Aintree Racecourse Thousands of people have made their way towards Aintree Racecourse , looking glammed up, on Thursday, April 11. As always, racegoers haven't disappointed in the fashion stakes, with many opting for bright colours, bold fascinators and stunning suits.
The gates opened at 11am, with first race the Close Brothers Manifesto Novices' Chase starting at 1.45pm and the last, the Goffs Nickel Coin Mares' Standard Open NH Flat Race concluding at 5.15pm.Hordes of keen racegoers were making their way through the gates of the world-famous racecourse early on, with many stopping and speaking to ECHO reporters. Blue and navy seem to be two colours that are dominating the trends this year, alongside women rocking suits and waistcoats.
With the weather looking up for the days ahead, racegoers have been able to put their best foot forward and show off their fashionable outfits.
