A number of Merseyrail services have been hit with issues
Early Grand National festival racegoers are struggling to get to the course in Aintree this morning as the three-day festival prepares to get underway.
At the time of publication services on the Headbolt Lane line are currently suspended due to a broken-down train. This means buses are running between Sandhills and Headbolt Lane.READ MORE: What time is the Grand National? Runners, horses and odds for 2024 Due to engineering works not being completed on time, some Ormskirk services have been impacted. A 9.02am Ormskirk to Liverpool Central service was terminated at Sandhills.
