A great-grandmother has been embraced by her beloved Magpies after she was mowed down by an e-scooter rider after the Collingwood-Carlton blockbuster two weeks ago.
Jessie Hatch, 80, has been devoted to the club her whole life and was leaving the MCG when she was hit.Former NRL player among three men charged with alleged drug offences"Apparently I passed out and they couldn't get a pulse or a heartbeat and I came around finally with someone screaming my name and telling me to wake up and also my son was so distressed," Hatch told 9News."She was born in Carlton - she won't admit that - but she was raised in Collingwood," he said.
Hatch is still recovering from her injuries but said she wouldn't let anything keep her from the game she loves.She'll also set rivalries aside to travel to Princes Park to meet the Blues fan who came to her aid.The 46-year-old man is still in custody ahead of his next court appearance on May 22.
