Don't put your big coat away just yet
Winter is officially over - but you're still going to need your big coat in Greater Manchester. The region is gearing up for the first weekend of spring since the March equinox.
But across Greater Manchester, conditions will feel rather chilly for much of the weekend. The Met Office is forecasting temperatures to plummet to as low as 2C in some areas tonight. Saturday is also expected to be fairly cool throughout the day. Tomorrow will see temperatures no higher than 8C in Greater Manchester, according to the Met Office.
