'Unfortunately, the struggles of 2023 have proved to just be too much'
It's well known in Greater Manchester as the family run bakery that's survived two World Wars, the Covid-19 pandemic and skyrocketing energy bills, but the owners of Robinsons bakery in Failsworth have confirmed its permeant closure after failing to secure a buyer.

This was due to several factors, but the overwhelming factors were the economic crisis and the ever-increasing cost of energy, utilities, and never-ending spiralling cost of ingredients.
"I am thoroughly thankful to our whole team who have helped to make our bakery shop what it has grown to be, and I wish them all success in their journeys going forward. Another said: "It will be a very sad day. My best regards to your Mum & Dad. My wife and I always came to your from a very young age, until we emigrated in 1987. Our first point of call on our trips back to the UK was to your shop. Good luck for your future."
