The storm, named by Meteo-France, will bring more wet and windy weather after Storm Kathleen
More wet and windy weather is forecast for parts of the UK today as Storm Pierrick sweeps over the country.
According to forecasters, gusts of up to 75mph are forecast in parts of Cornwall, Devon and along the south coast. Windy weather is also forecast further north in England, though not as strong, with more rainy conditions forecast following on from Met Office-named Storm Kathleen over the weekend. In Greater Manchester, Met Office forecasters predict today will be largely cloudy with rain showers forecast in the afternoon. Downpours are likely to turn heavy this evening at around 6pm.
More heavy downpours are forecast in Greater Manchester before sunny intervals set in during the early evening. Wednesday is forecast to be another rainy day with wind gusts reaching around 29mph during the afternoon.
