Indy Man Beer Conwas known as the ‘Glastonbury of beer festivals’
The creators of the much-loved beer festival Indy Man Beer Con have revealed the event will not be returning. In a shock announcement yesterday it was confirmed that 2023 was the final festival.
“We want to say a monumentally huge thank you to all involved, and all who have come along to celebrate and support independent craft beer with us, in Manchester’s beloved Victoria Baths.” In an emotional statement, Jonny said: “The last 12 years have been an amazing journey, we’re proud to have brought something new and different to the craft beer market way back in 2012.
Last year’s festival was the first after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic. Ticket prices were frozen and attendees were given the chance to volunteer at the event in exchange for a £25 Nell’s voucher upon completion of their shift, and a free session at IMBC with 10 free tokens.
