A sixth suspect has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was shot dead on his doorstep

Neil Canney was seriously injured in an attack outside his house in Nairn Road, Greenock, at around 1.15am on Tuesday 28 February.'s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later.Image:Kieran Hendry, 24, made no plea to the murder charge when he appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Hendry, of Greenock in Inverclyde, was remanded in custody and is expected back in the dock within the next eight days.
