Nationals Leader David Littleproud says the Australian Greens have “washed their hands” of the environmental damage that renewable energy projects have caused. “On remnant vegetation, on native species, that some of which are endangered,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia. “You just have to wonder where is their moral compass. “Where are their moral values that they’re prepared to wash their hands? “We’re seeing the real impacts on the environment on our food security through prime agricultural land being ripped up.”
