Gregg Wallace has come under fire from unhappy customers of his healthy eating website, who have claimed they are struggling to get refunds and have been 'repeatedly charged'
TV chef Gregg Wallace has responded to disgruntled customers criticising his healthy-eating website, following complaints about poor customer service and refund issues. The 60 year old, who stepped down as co-host of MasterChef last November, launched the fitness site back in 2020 after he impressively lost five stone 'without going on a diet'.
However, after a wave of complaints from customers struggling with automatic subscription renewals and seeking refunds, a spokesperson told Metro: "The membership renewal policy is very clear and we send out reminder notices by email before any money is taken. Anyone who feels they've been incorrectly charged should contact us and we'll be happy to resolve the situation.
"Getting no reply on email for a refund. Customer service terrible and would not recommend them," one dissatisfied Trustpilot user posted in a scathing review. "Renewed my membership and took the money without any warning, tried to resolve amicably many times but the customer service was horrific and unprofessional," another unhappy customer expressed.
"A first class service all round, plus the support of others in the group is phenomenal," a satisfied member praised. "So much choice of wonderful food, easy to use website and unrivalled support. This plan is so easy to follow and really works," enthused another happy subscriber. Another satisfied user wrote, "I joined late June this year, after trying so many 'fad' diets and them not working.
