Wallace has stepped down after fronting the BBC show for seven years
Gregg Wallace’s replacement for one of his biggest sjhows has been named after the presenter stepped down following seven years fronting the series. Wallace will no longer present BBC's Inside The Factory.
There were reports Gregg's departure came after he upset a number of people while presenting the show. He said: “I’ve enjoyed doing [Inside the Factory] for a number of years and I’ve done hundreds of factories. I use humour to relax people. "There was an argument inside the factory, the reporting isn't accurate. There was an issue and I thought this is the perfect time to come out," he said on Good Morning Britain. "Offending people? No no. If you look at the headlines you can't see a story that matches those headlines." He told the BBC earlier this year: “As viewers know, to say I find the inside of factories fascinating is an understatement. I’ve never failed to be amazed by the scale of production.
Paddy yesterday announced he has secured a new job after he has landed a new role in a Channel 4 show - known as Don't Look Down. The 50-year-old's new show will raise funds for Stand Up to Cancer. The new how will see celebrities learn to tight-rope walk on a high-wire. The six brave stars learn how to cross a distance of 1,000ft.
