A handyman accused of murdering two of his girlfriends in 16 months has claimed the second alleged victim may still be alive, a court heard.
He was then released on bail and in June last year his second partner, Fiona Holm, 48, went missing and has not been seen since, Woolwich Crown Court heard. 'There is no direct evidence that Fiona Holm is dead, or that Carl Cooper is the right man responsible for her death.
