Harry Pszza, a local takeaway in Salford, has been gaining rave reviews for its unique pizzas and exceptional quality. Despite being a small independent shop, it has surpassed even popular chains like Domino's and Papa Johns. After hearing great things about Salford 's Harry Pszza, hailed as 'better than Domino's and Papa Johns' no less, we decided to give it a go.
It launched in 2019 - initially as a temporary pop-up from owner Harshal Patel's home - and took off so much he decided to open the shop. Then in December, they scooped Gold in the PAPA Industry Awards in the Independent Pizza Delivery Shop category. The Lucifer's Kiss is apparently a favourite among customers, with N'djua, pepperoni, roquito peppers and hot honey; while The Hague is another best seller, with garlic butter, Grana Padano, mozzarella, chorizo, feta and hot honey.
It might sound weird and admittedly, it looks a bit weird, but it's a concoction that works and was a big hit all round. But instead we went for the cannoli, the Italian tube-shaped pastry shells filled with chocolate hazelnut cream or lemon cream.
