A Hays County man faces multiple charges after he shot at deputies during a two-hour standoff at his Dripping Springs home, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. Nathan Nattin , 41, is being held in the Hays County Jail, with his bail set at $560,000. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a police officer, possession of a controlled substance and deadly conduct. Deputies responded to a call of a suspicious person about 1:20 p.m.

Charge dropped against former Hays officer in inmate’s shooting death A SWAT team, Crisis Negotiations Team and Drone Team responded, and deputies reported that they were shot at once, the sheriff’s office said. Nattin exited his house and was taken into custody after nearly two hours. Multiple firearms, marijuana and psilocybin, or mushrooms, were found inside the residence, the sheriff's office said.
