Frankie Bevan, 20, was found dead at the Severn Arms Hotel where he lived and worked after being left to lock up the pub on his own.
He had been due to stay at the home of his foster mother that night, but was last seen on CCTV heading to the back of the pub at around 9.45pm on November 10.A painter had tried to get access to the pub in in Penybont, Mid Wales, the following morning, but there was no answer when he knocked on the door.
The landlord told Powys Coroners Court he ‘started to panic a little’ after speaking with her and rang the police to report Frankie missing.
