Susan Malcomson's family were still coming to terms with her shock diagnosis when she tragically passed away
A heartbroken family have paid tribute to a Glasgow gran who died weeks after her cancer diagnosis. Susan Malcomson, 73, passed away on November 12 last year, after the disease spread throughout her body.
Amanda admitted she was still struggling to comprehend her mum's cancer diagnosis, let alone her sudden decline and death. She told Glasgow Live: "I still can't believe that she passed away. I never really dealt with cancer before, so it came as a big shock to us." Amanda said: "My mum was lovely and she took pride in all her grandkids, they were always at her house. She was very funny and looked to make us laugh.
Top news stories today The 53-year-old is now looking to raise £1000 for the Beatson after they provided exquisite care for her mother. Amanda will hand the money to the charity just after Susan's birthday next month.
