The UKHSA has also implemented a Yellow Heat Health Alert for those vulnerable to rising temperatures
The Met Office has issued a warning of extremely high temperatures this week, with some areas seeing temperatures over 30C.
The only parts of the country that may miss out on the high temperatures are the far north and west of Scotland which will instead see periods of showery conditions. There may also be a chance of thundery showers in parts of the country from Tuesday, but this will likely be isolated and not spread to other regions. The UK Health Security Agency has also issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert which advises vulnerable people to keep cool and stay hydrated during higher temperatures.
