Nottinghamshire residents face another day of heavy rain with the Met Office upgrading its warning to amber. Flooding is a real risk with potential for travel disruption and power cuts.
After a weekend full of rain and thunder, Nottinghamshire residents may be disappointed to learn there will be no respite at the start of the new working week. Rainfall is expected to continue into Monday , and is not forecast to let up until the early hours of Tuesday .
Meanwhile, the Environment Agency has warned there is a medium risk of flooding. "It’s likely that runoff from rainfall or blocked drains will cause properties and roads to flood," the Government website reads.
