So wrong it's right?
It’s probably the wackiest flavour yet Heinz has released a new flavour of ketchup, and shoppers are intrigued. While Heinz, the nations favourite ketchup brand, has mixed things up in the past, with flavoured ketchups such as curry, pickle, jalapeno and chilli, the latest release is proving controversial. The brand’s Smokey Bacon flavour ketchup was revealed in a post on Instagram by UK Newest Foods this week, and comments were mixed.
Thiago Rapp, Head of Heinz comms and brand build said: ‘Following the success of our Pickle Flavour Tomato Ketchup last year, we know what we’re doing when it comes to launching delicious new twists to your favourite Heinz Tomato Ketchup – and this one is nothing short of sizzlingly-delicious!’ Fancy a side of bacon with your ketchup? It isn’t the first time Heinz has left shoppers conflicted over its products.
