The Countryfile host is venturing out after signing off on her final BBC radio show
Helen Skelton has given fans an update on her next career venture after quitting her job in radio last month. The TV and radio host had a regular slot presenting BBC 5 Live every Sunday morning, but recently stepped down to focus on her children.
Since splitting from her partner last year, the former Blue Peter host has already ventured out into other fields after appearing as a contestant on the last series of Strictly Come Dancing. Helen was paired with professional dancer Gorka Marquez and made it all the way to the final of the BBC One dance contest in December, saying she had “found her confidence on the dancefloor”.
The caption read: "Here's where my story starts and ends ..in Cumbria. Looking forward to getting the book on shelves. A story of adventures so far. #InMyStride is out 12th October and you can pre-order on the link in my bio @headlinebooks."
