Former Las Vegas Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison for a November 2021 drunk driving crash that killed 23-year-old Tina Tintor. The 24-year-old could be eligible for parole after three years.

, according to the police report — more than twice Nevada’s legal limit. Ruggs was also alleged to be driving 156 mph.

Court records also showed a charge of reckless driving resulting in death or serious bodily harm. That charge, among others, was dismissed under the plea agreement, according to theRuggs was the No. 12 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama. He had 50 receptions for 921 yards and four touchdowns in 20 career games with the Raiders, who released him the same day the initial felony charges were filed.
