Passengers at East Midlands Airport were left without their luggage due to a "baggage system fault". The issue hit 17 flights, with the missing luggage tally ranging from one to 168 bags.
According to the spokesperson, travellers should expect to be reunited with their baggage within the ensuing 24 hours. Destinations like Girona, Alicante, Arrecife, Faro, Enfidha, Palma, Benidorm, Dubrovnik, Lanzarote, Skiathos, Dalaman, Malaga, Luga and Krakow felt the sting of this disruption, , reports Leicestershire Live.
