The first episode of Lockerbie: A Search for Truth takes viewers down Sherwood Crescent, where nine residents were killed.

And production designer Tom Sayer has revealed how they went about recreating the scene for the opening episode. “It makes it look almost like a set, because you’ve just got the walls of some houses and nothing else. “We tried to use that as well with cars, where just the back end of a car was singed, its front end completely pristine.

Sam said: “He sees quite a lot. The night we shot the scene where Murray effectively takes the audience down Sherwood Crescent... It was a pretty extraordinary film set to be on with emergency vehicles everywhere, smoke, fires.
