Temperatures will drop this week before a milder weekend
Temperatures will drop to as low as 4C in Greater Manchester as the weather gets a 'good deal colder' this week.
In our region, a windy start to the morning is expected today before some sunny intervals this afternoon. Some light showers are expected with temperatures reaching a high of 15C.The mercury will drop to as low as 8C overnight into Wednesday with temperatures remaining below average through much of the day. Forecasters predict it will feel chilly for the time of year with a maximum temperature of 12C in Greater Manchester.
From the weekend, forecasters predict that temperatures will return to closer to average for mid-September with milder conditions expected. The mercury is predicted to climb back up to 18C on Saturday and Sunday with some sunny and cloudy intervals forecast.
