A former Australian cricket captain has opened up for the first time about his terrifying battle with a disease that was diagnosed with just a glance from the doctor.

The former Test Captain, 68, was told the heartbreaking news back in 2016 but has opened up for the first time about his scary battle.

Parkinson's is a brain disorder that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements, including stiffness, shaking and difficulty to walk, talk and balance. He and his wife Jane had decided to keep it a secret from the public and only told close family about the diagnosis. Pictured: Border and wife with his statue at The Gabba.
