Oasis nearly convinced Roma legend Daniele De Rossi to join Manchester City due to his love of the band.
A legend from the Italian league has revealed that he came incredibly close to signing for Manchester City due to his love of local icons Oasis.
"What excited me the most about that prospect, however, was the fact I could have met the Gallagher brothers. "I liked those guys, they were real characters. They weren’t always conventional or very easily approachable, but I really liked the stereotype they represented – rock stars off their head."Had he joined, it is highly likely that a meeting with each of the Gallagher brothers could have been arranged for the new singing, due to their close links with the club.
