A huge fire broke out at a former caravan storage site once owned by the mother of killer Luke Mitchell last night.
Formerly Scott's Caravans, the now derelict site was previously owned by Corinne Mitchell, mother of convicted Midlothian murderer Luke Mitchell. The now 31-year-old was sentenced to 20 years in prison, despite insisting his innocence throughout the trial. Five fire appliances attended the scene and the road was cordoned off, with firefighters working for several hours to extinguish the blaze.Top news stories today In 2021, Corinne Mitchell told a Channel 5 documentary - ‘Murder in a Small Town’ - that she was forced out of her family home and stayed at the old caravan site for six years.
