Hugh Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness appeared to make a dig at his alleged 'affair'
Hugh Jackman's spouse, Deborra-Lee Furness, subtly expressed her stance on rumours surrounding Hugh's so-called "affair". Insiders claim that Deborra was "hurt" by allegations of his infidelity with co-star Sutton Foster, dubbed as the "worst kept secret on Broadway".
Subsequently, in September, Hugh announced his split from Deborra-Lee Furness, aged 68, while last month Sutton filed for divorce from husband Ted Griffin, who is 53. A source disclosed to Us Weekly: "Sutton and Hugh's relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced. Meanwhile, Deborra reportedly showed tacit approval for a video by blogger Tasha Lustig on social media that suggested Hugh, aged 56, left for "with the mistress" and may be planning a "soft launch" of his and Jessica's relationship. Amanda de Cadenet, a friend of Deborra, chimed in saying "You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi! " Notably, Deborra also liked the post, reports The Mirror.
The insider went on to claim, "They based their marriage on honesty. But if Hugh didn't physically cheat, she knows that he did emotionally. Her liking a simple post is the most subtle thing she could do that would have the greatest impact and it cannot be proven in any way shape or form that it was a jab to him. It's left up to interpretation."
