Police patrols have been stepped up in the area
Residents on a quiet residential street say they are being plagued by brazen thieves who repeatedly try car doors.
Residents have been taking to groups on Facebook to warn each other to make sure their cars are locked while sharing clips of the thieves in a bid to identify them.In the early hours of this morning a man with shoulder length dark hair who was wearing a white top, a white hat and what appears to be a scarf, was seen trying the door of a white car in Earnsdale Road. One vehicle is understood to have been broken into close to the Sunnyhurst pub.
Last week a man, who appears to be a separate individual, was seen in the same area. His face can be seen clearly in the clip and he doesn't appear to have taken any steps to hide his face.
