Ellie said: "POV - you have a crazy feeling that you need to go into your favourite charity shop on the way as you think you're going to find something amazing. "The store assistant is like, 'Oh my god, are you sure?' The woman goes, 'I want you to put it in the charity shop and list it for £1 - I want you to sell this for £1 and whoever buys it, it's their lucky day'.
"You buy it for £1 and now you own this woman's engagement ring. You can't get it valued because it's Bank Holiday, so you have no idea how much this ring is that you own right now.
