Mohammed Joel Chaudhry has been jailed for 16 months

Three women say they have lost trust in the police after a pervert cop stored their private sexual photos on his own mobile phone.

Now the disgraced officer is behind bars after being sentenced to 16 months for three counts of misconduct and possession of indecent images of a child. Chaudhry's second victim, Ms B, was a 16-year-old girl who had been reported as missing from home in Preston. She was classed as vulnerable, and was with her boyfriend when Chaudhry found them.

"I get the feeling my life is doomed. I try to stop thinking about it but it gets the better of me. It is devastating to think that a police officer knew why he was there that night and took my phone off me. He took pure advantage of me and it is vile." "The police officer came round that day and I feel he really took advantage of the situation. When the police came round and showed me the picture it made me feel sick. It has caused me to make myself sick after eating and it brought up emotions from my past. I lost two stone in weight."

Det Chief Inspector Pete Reil, from Lancashire Police's Anti-Corruption Unit, said: “Choudhury’s behaviour was completely reprehensible and not compatible with anyone who has the privilege of wearing a police uniform. I welcome the sentence handed down today and hope it demonstrates to the public that this behaviour will not be tolerated by Lancashire Constabulary or the courts.
