'I’m a time-traveller and I KNOW who wins the World Cup…I have video proof'
In the short video, which has garnered almost 2million likes, the TikTok user said: "Brazil just beat France at the 2022 World Cup final. I'm a time traveller."
The user added in the caption that they were "helping you out like last year" in reference to a video they made for the Euro 2020 final. Many were impressed with the "time traveller's" editing skills, even if they were more doubtful about their claims. But others were quick to point out that the clip of Brazilian fans celebrating was actually taken from Richarlison's goal in their opening World Cup match against Serbia.
While another pointed out that Giroud's France kit appears to have only one star above the badge, meaning that it must be from before the 2018 World Cup final, where France won the competition for the second time. The TikTok user, as well as claiming to have seen the final result coming also shared a clip of England thrashing Ukraine 4-0 in the quarter-final before the match even kicked off.
