As reader explains why he’s so keen on the PS5 Pro and how its release can help to improve gameplay as well as just graphics.
The PS4 Pro started a trend I got a bit of a fright this week when I saw rumours that the PS5 Pro could be delayed into next year. As I understand, the leaker responsible has said that he now thinks it will still be out in 2024, which is a relief as I was intending very much to get it. In fact, I intend to sell my PlayStation 5 in order to pay for it.
That said, I’m as turned off by the hardcore PC fans that go into ultra detail about everything – the sort of people that make Digital Foundry seem like amateurs – but that’s exactly why I want a PS5 Pro. Then I don’t have to worry about fine-tuning my settings or upgrading my motherboard. I want good graphics but I also want an easy life.
