Iceland has launched its Christmas food range for 2024 and it includes a £9 lobster
Lobster is typically considered a luxury food, so it was quite surprising to discover that it's now available at local Iceland stores. Not to discredit Iceland in any way - it has been a leading provider of frozen foods since the 70s - but it's not the first place that comes to mind when thinking of lobster.
So, I decided to test this out by trying the lobster myself. Priced at £9, Iceland's Luxury Canadian Whole Cooked Lobster comes frozen and needs to be defrosted in the fridge. Thankfully, Iceland anticipated this potential issue and included a step-by-step guide with pictures on the box, making the process relatively straightforward once you get past the initial shock, reports the Mirror.
This could be an impressive dish to serve your guests this festive season. One lobster is said to serve two people, so you might need more than one.
