There was no doubt about it - I encountered a ghost
I hadn't really thought I 'd come into contact with ghosts during a trip to Liverpool's Newsham Park Hospital. Of course, the site is associated with the supernatural - and regularly hosts spooky themed events in keeping with the building's reputation. This year is no different with a new version of Newsham Scream Park coming to Liverpool from Friday, October 4. Four new experiences in previously inaccessible areas are being added in time for Halloween .
A particularly disturbing detail was the scratch marks on the backs of the doors which you can see in the video above. As the tour progressed, we were shown some new areas I had not previously seen. The most shocking was the gymnasium, which was open, airy and filled with debris. Up a narrow set of stairs, we found ourselves on the stage which one of the tour guides told us was a particularly haunted part of the building. This is where things got really strange.
