Ibrahima Konate admits he is being driven by the desire to remind Liverpool supporters of his worth after regaining his place in the starting line-up. Konate was an impressive performer in helping the Reds continue their 100% opening under new head coach Arne Slot with a 2-0 Premier League win over Brentford at Anfield on Sunday.
' Liverpool kept successive Premier League clean sheets in the same campaign for the first time since last October, although Konate admits the Reds are still adapting to the methods of Slot. 'I'm very happy because we won 2-0 and we didn't concede – this is most important for the team,' he said. 'Now we have to be ready for the next big game, which is coming very quick .
