A former inmate who gained notoriety for a sex tape scandal with a prison officer has been attacked while holding his baby during a family visit. The attack resulted in injuries to both the inmate and the infant, prompting a police investigation.
An inmate who was previously involved in a scandal involving a sex tape with a prison officer has reportedly been attacked while holding a baby during a family visit. Linton Weirich, 36, was the target of another inmate during a visit at Swaleside Prison. The attack occurred on December 18th when Weirich was holding his three-month-old child. The incident left both Weirich and the infant hospitalized. The baby suffered a fractured skull, while Weirich sustained head injuries.
According to reports, Weirich was punched by another inmate in the visiting area, causing him to fall on top of the baby. Kent Police confirmed that they are investigating the assault and a suspect has been identified, although no arrests have been made. The baby's mother, who witnessed the attack, was left deeply distressed. Weirich's past involvement in a sex tape scandal with prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu, 31, landed him in Swaleside Prison after the incident at Wandsworth Prison. The video of their intimate encounter went viral on social media, leading to De Sousa Abreu's imprisonment for 15 months in January. De Sousa Abreu, a married woman and a swinger, admitted to misconduct and was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court. Judge Martin Edmunds, KC, highlighted the severity of De Sousa Abreu's actions, stating that she compromised her role, undermined discipline, and exposed colleagues to increased risks.De Sousa Abreu, originally from Brazil, had previously denied attempting to flee the country after being arrested at Heathrow Airport while travelling with her father. She claimed to have 'found faith in God' since the incident and has an OnlyFans account where she shares explicit content. Weirich, on the other hand, was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison last June for a burglary conviction, where he stole £65,000 worth of valuables from a safe in a Kensington flat
