Series five of the much-loved Channel 5 show is gearing up to air
The much-loved drama, All Creatures Great and Small, is set to return to Channel 5 for its fifth season. The series, which is also available on Netflix, is based on the writings of Alf Wight, better known as James Herriot, and explores his real-life experiences as a vet in Yorkshire.He works under Siegfried Farnon , the quirky owner of Skeldale House veterinary practice. Recognising James' passion and potential, Siegfried offers him part-ownership of the practice.
The actual Skeldale House, which was used for filming the original series, is managed by Maison Parfaite - owned and operated by founders Sean and Sarah McDermott, a husband and wife team.
