Man United are keen to try and reach an agreement with Lecce to sign wing-back Patrick Dorgu ahead of the transfer window closing.
FC Nordsjaelland technical director Alexander Riget has provided a detailed insight of the type of footballer and character Manchester United will inherit if they complete the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce.
The Danish international, 20, has caught the eye in Serie A so far this season and his versatile profile makes him an attractive option for United. He can play as a right-winger and as a left-sided centre-back in addition to being a left-sided wing-back. "He is always like, 'put me on the pitch and then I will perform'. That’s a good asset to have if you want to become a football player and I'm not surprised that he has been capable of taking the steps from a mental perspective because he's just playing football and doing the job."
"He was really a football player. Like when the other players do something on the weekend, he was playing football with his brothers and sister. So he's a real football player. He was always having a ball at his feet."
