"We just feel so bad for his family but are so proud of the searchers who found him, they never gave up." Dramatic footage released by the Guardia Civil on Tenerife this morning illustrates the challenging terrain of the search area. The video, captured by specialist mountain rescue teams who discovered Jay's body, shows personnel being airlifted out of the rugged landscape.
The Spanish police force stated that all evidence indicated it was Jay and that his death was accidental, resulting from a fall.
