Later, in an evil twist, police officer Kit Green approached Dee-Dee and her father Ed Bailey on the cobbles, revealing they had a tip off and needed to investigate alleged insider trading. Due to the police investigation, Dee-Dee was told to step away from her job, causing distress. During the scenes, Dee-Dee's colleague Adam Barlow asked her to step down for a while as it looked bad for their solicitor business.
