Emmerdale viewers are buzzing with theories that the villainous Tom King will finally face his downfall, and it will be Piper the dog who plays a pivotal role. The ITV soap has had viewers on edge as the malevolent Tom has subjected his wife Belle Dingle to a harrowing ordeal of emotional and physical abuse.
But Belle's suspicions were aroused, leading her to deduce that Tom orchestrated Piper's "accident", reports the Express. Yet, some fans are speculating that Piper will miraculously return to Belle, setting the stage for Tom's imminent comeuppance. "Which is precisely why he got Belle a small dog instead of, say, an Alsatian, which would undoubtedly have fought back, defended Belle, and likely have attacked Tom about 45 times a week. Smaller dogs are easier for cowardly Tom to bully and control."
