The 1% Club viewers were left baffled as two contestants were faced with a tricky final question on the ITV show, with some saying they didn't even try to work it out
Viewers of ITV's The 1% Club were left puzzled on Saturday night when two clever contestants, Maisie and Alex, got stumped by a difficult question. The pair had been doing really well on the show, but the final maths problem was just too hard for them.
After deciding to take their winnings, Lee asked Alex and Maisie: "What were you thinking? " Alex replied: "I was going to go for it and I was thinking, 'I don't know what I want to do' but I just can imagine my mum and dad saying, 'Take the money'." Lee said: "If there are two of you...if there are eight of you, you are risking less money. When you walked down, did you think you were going to go for it? ".People watching at home were puzzled by the question too. Someone wrote on social media: "I didn't even try with that one. Maths is hard enough on a calculator for me, never mind doing it in my head in 30 seconds.
