The Voice UK returned to ITV on Saturday night with a whole new coaching line-up
ITV welcomed back The Voice UK on Saturday evening, with the famous red chairs occupied by industry giants Sir Tom Jones, Will. I.Am, LeAnn Rimes and McFly's Danny Jones alongside Tom Fletcher.
Confusion was sparked among fans regarding why Danny and Tom shared a chair with one netizen commenting: "Two judges in one seat Why??#TheVoice." A different user humorously pondered: "What if McFly get food poisoning and both end up in the bog with the shits? Did they think of that? #TheVoice." .Yet, amid the criticism, some viewers found it refreshing, with one fan commenting: "This line up of #TheVoice. Tom and Danny are 2 of my biggest inspirations and i simply love LeAnn, shes just lovely." .
While Danny previously sat as a coach for 'The Voice Kids UK' from 2017 until 2023, this marks the first time he has been paired with his bandmate, Tom Fletcher, on the show.
