The inside track on the football stories that matter
Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho has taken to social media to give fans an update on why he’s been missing for their last few games.
Sancho missed his side’s 2-1 win over Newcastle due to illness and was then ineligible to face his parent club, Man United, due to a clause in his loan deal. “Jadon is recovering from illness but he also had a knock in a session. Tomorrow he is out but we will see if he can be available for Sunday’s game, otherwise it will be after the international break for him.”After spending the second half of last season on loan at former club Borussia Dortmund, the left winger decided to call it quits on his tumultuous time at Man United.
